ABOUT US
The theme for this year’s World Health Day is “Make Heart Choices NOT Hard Choices.” In conjunction with this event, the Health Promotion Board (HPB) is launching a health campaign to heighten public awareness of the prevention and control of cardiovascular disease. As part of its campaign, HPB has organised a ‘Cardiovascular Health Promotion Competition’. We are a group of students creating a health promotion package to educate the our target audience-smokers, to encourage the adoption of possible lifestyle changes which help lower their risk(s) for either of the health condition – atherosclerosis or hypertension. The changes can either help to prevent the condition from happening or promote recovery from the condition. |
Risks Associated To SmokingLike most people, you already know that smoking is bad for your health. But do you really understand just how dangerous smoking really is? Learning about and understanding the many facts of the smoking can put you on the right track to successful smoking cessation.
